The type of information we receive about you depends entirely on how you use our information technologies. Information Collection

Information collected by the Texas FFA Association’s web portal technologies is utilized solely for the purpose of conducting business, sharing information and providing online services. This information is never shared outside our organization, or with parts of the organization that utilize a different privacy policy. Personal information, including name, address, e-mail, phone, etc., is provided on a voluntary basis only. We may use this information to respond to submitted requests or to provide requested services.  (Example:  Convention registration)

Collected Information

Non-Identifying, Non-Aggregate information (IP address) is collected in order to measure site usage and make the site more useful and beneficial to our visitors and users.

Cookies

The Texas FFA Association does not utilize 'cookies' to collect information given involuntarily by visitors to our site, nor does the association sell, rent or otherwise transfer any information received. We use cookies to store visitor preferences, and record session information.

Mailing Lists & Electronic Newsletters

The profile pages allow the voluntary submission of contact information so that respondents may receive informational e-mails, and to complete certain Texas FFA Association applications and award recognition programs. Whenever e-mails are broadcast, the Texas FFA Association ensures that receivers have the ability to unsubscribe to future mailings.

User Accounts

The Texas FFA Association collects and maintains individual user information that is submitted by users that are assigned user accounts by adult supervisors. We encourage all parents to assist their children with accessing information via the web.

3rd Party Websites

Some of our portals contain links to other Internet websites. The Texas FFA Association is not responsible for or privacy practices of any linked sites, including corporate sponsors of the organization, resource sites not affiliated with the Texas FFA Association and any affiliated, chapter or individual members websites linked from the Texas FFA Association online resources. No warning will be issued when a visitor has accessed a link to a website outside the realm of the Texas FFA Association portals, but we have made every effort to standardize the look and characteristics of all portal pages.

Disclosure and Updates to Customer Information

Users may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us, calling us at the above telephone number, or writing to us at the above address.

When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information, we redirect visitors to a secure server We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our portals.
